Executive diploma In Management (administration and Operations)

Overview

This programme aims to provide students with a deep understanding of the fundamentals of management for career advancement and organizational development.


The specialisation in Administration and Operations provides a broad and comprehensive foundation in all aspects of organisational management in areas such as management, marketing, finance, management information systems, production and operations management, and human capital management. Curriculum, course content, academic standards and course assessment are designed to allow students to acquire academic knowledge, and develop personal skills and abilities for career advancement.

Entry Requirement

Malaysian 

Candidates must fulfil the following requirements 

1) Passed SPM with a minimum of three (3) credits or equivalent: OR 

2) Obtained APEL Certificate from MQA for admission to Diploma (Level 4); OR 

3) Obtained other qualifications recognised by the Senate; AND 

4) Have a minimum of six (6) months working experience; AND 

5) Fulfilled the programme special requirements set by the Senate.


Non Malaysian Applicants


Non-Malaysian applicants who wish to pursue study in the Executive Diploma programme at the University must meet the following general requirements:

a) Pass at least General Certificate of Education 'O' Level or other qualification recognized by the Senate; AND 

b) Obtained the following results in one of the English proficiency exams as described below: 

i) A minimum score of 397 (PBT) or 30-31 (IBT) for Test of English as a Foreign Language (TOEFL); OR 

ii) Band 4.0 and above for the International English Language Testing System (IELTS); OR 

iii) A Minimum score of 160 in Cambridge English: Advance (CAE); OR CEFR B2 or CPE (180) (Cambridge English Proficiency / CEFR C1; OR 

iv) A minimum score of 30 in the Pearson Test of English (PTE); OR A minimum score of A2 in the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages (CEFR); OR 

v) A minimum of Level 2 (Band 2) in the Malaysian University English Test (MUET).

Programme Duration
The duration of the programme is six (6) semesters which can be completed within 30 months on a part-time basis.
